It is annual and its stem is erect, hairy and branched.Its height is in between 30 and 60 cm.
Its edible fruit is a brilliant, elongated and rounded berry from 5 to 30 cm long. It presents a purple color when ripen, although it can change according to the variety. The seed is extracted from ripen fruits to plant.
It is a thin green and elongated variety of pepper and it is the most common in the market. Hibrid varieties are usual and they have hardly any seed nor internal nerves. It is not much fleshy with very thin skin.
A native variety from Comunidad Valenciana.

This variety has a great production due to its use as canned food, paste or mashed tomato production. It has not much juice and smooth flavour. It has a fixed growth and bigger plants have a lot of leaves.
It is a perennial thistle originating in southern Europe around the Mediterranean. It grows to 1.5-2 m tall, with arching, deeply lobed, silvery glaucous-green leaves 50–80 cm long.
